
Voting Information
Make your voice heard on or before Tuesday, November 4.
The 2025 referendum for Cook County Schools is an important community decision. All voting for this referendum will be conducted by mail.
Ballots will be mailed to every registered voter around the first week of October. This mailing will include instructions for how to complete and return your ballot.
If you are not registered to vote, you can request an absentee ballot application here from the Cook County Auditor’s office.
Once you receive your ballot, you can complete and return it right away. You don’t have to wait until Election Day: Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
If you don't receive your ballot, misplace it, or can’t mail it back in time, in-person voting will be available at the Cook County Courthouse on or before Election Day, during regular business hours:
